Skirts and Lungi

Batik is the art of using wax on fabric when dyeing in order to avoid dyeing a certain section of the fabric. The method is also know as wax resist dyeing.

Batik Lungi is a rectangular piece of cloth that is wrapped around the waist and tied securely. Lungis are usually made from lightweight cotton or silk fabric, making them comfortable and breathable, especially in hot and humid climates.
